Our Purpose

Empowering young men

A summer away from home in a new environment while working a fast-paced job demonstrates an unwavering commitment to your future. Young men who participated in the program acquired significant practical experience in independent living and built strong bonds with like-minded people, developing a sense of brotherhood. This distinct experience cannot be recreated elsewhere. It provides young men with prospects for personal development, career exploration, financial gain, a new perspective on their future, and more.

Each of our summer program participants work in Ocean City at one of our partner employers. DevelopMore staff connects regularly with each employer to discuss your participant to ensure their success and personal development.

A bit about...

Support for Parents

Participants in the Ocean City Workforce Development Program will live independently in Ocean City, MD for the summer while earning income and meeting new people.

24-Hour Supervision

Our program has 24-hour on-site supervision living with the participants in our group housing.

Holistic Development

Participants will gather weekly for lessons to teach and reinforce career readiness skills

Social-emotional support

Our on-site staff is available to each participant one-on-one for counseling and support.
